Starting with a keynote address from a guest speaker on Leadership, followed by interactive activities to help you review your personal, professional and future career plans, this event will be a great Networking opportunity and a chance to catch up with the MDN Steering Group, the New Directors, and other MDN Members.
 
 Join us on the afternoon of 19th April, and you will:

·        Produce your own up to date professional and personal development plan to achieve your ongoing career plan
·        Meet and network with other managers in North Wales

Guest Speaker Mr Michael Denysenko is the Head of Learning and Development for Thomas Cook Airlines and has held several senior positions within the travel, manufacturing and retail industries, most recently as L&D Manager for Iceland Foods; Michael has also worked as a consultant for a number of public sector organisations in the field of Diversity and People Management.

 
Michael will discuss `Developing Leaders From Within – Getting managers to step up and take their people with them’. He will explore how in the current climate there is a tendency to promote people who are just “good at their jobs” he will help us to look at what we are doing internally to identify, develop and bank talent to ensure our managers are being developed as leaders of tomorrow.
