Glyndŵr Innovations and ESO sign contract for ELT M5 mirror production
On Friday 28th June, Glyndŵr Innovations and Wrexham University attended a virtual ceremony hosted by ESO to formally sign the contract for the production of the Extremely Large Telescope (ELT) M5 commissioning mirror.
Under construction in Chile’s Atacama Desert, the ELT will have a pioneering five-mirror optical design that will allow it to observe the Universe in unprecedented detail.
